Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers nice rooms with views of either the Golf course or a courtyard, although they could have been a bit tidier. The service was helpful, and the staff honored the room rate quoted online even though there was a reservation mix-up. The location is lovely, with well-kept trees and views of the MeadowView Golf Course. The dining experience was good but considered expensive. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel offers clean and comfortable rooms with a King-size bed; however, they are almost due for some updating. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The location is convenient for daily visits to Jonesborough for the Storytelling Festival, albeit a bit chilly hot tub. The dining options were extensive but pricey. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
I arrived around 4:30, a bit later than the standard check-in time, and found the rooms to be well-tended and quiet, although my room was tucked away in a corner between what seemed to be a linen closet and another room, making me cautious not to disturb my neighbors. The service staff varied from gracious and helpful individuals to a concerning lack of hygiene awareness, but overall, the service was satisfactory. The location of the hotel was beautiful, surrounded by nature and offering easy access to shopping and highways, making it a peaceful retreat. Dining at the hotel was a delight with a change in menu daily, though the options were limited.
